This kit tests the 3 sex hormones, Estradiol, Progesterone, and Testosterone and also measures some adrenal hormones: DHEA-S and morning Cortisol. DHEA-S is a steroid hormone that is a precursor to other sex hormones, when low it can indicate adrenal insufficiency. Cortisol is commonly referred to as the stress hormone and is measured here in the morning to also indicate adrenal function.
Sample collection is through saliva.
